We live in a world that can bring stress into our homes daily simply by turning on the television and watching the news.

What actions do you take to remove stress (or relieve stress) from your daily lives? 
Do you meditate, pray or do yoga? Perhaps you listen to comforting music or read poetry. Maybe you walk outside to breathe the fresh air and take notice of each detail - like my small grandchildren who appreciate each flower, worm or bug on the ground 🌼🐜🍃

  1. Yes, I do have a daily practice. I pray daily, actually my prayers are more like “talks”. I just talk to God, especially when I am stressed, but also when I am happy & thankful. I have been doing this for as long as I remember. My MawMaw Taylor taught me Bible stories when I was tiny. She was one of my greatest friends & I loved her dearly. I remember her reading Bible stories to me, teaching me scriptures, just swinging in her yard swing with her & watching clouds, picking out pictures made by those beautiful fluffy white clouds. Sometimes just watching clouds like I did when I was little gives me immeasurable peace.
    I am an artist, working mostly in water media. Painting is also something that gives me peace. I can start painting & lose all sense of time. I’ve always been a night owl & that is the time I love to paint the most. I can start painting at one or two o’clock in the morning & the next thing I know, the sun is coming up!
