Of course, it takes a desire to begin. Then comes the commitment, discipline and follow through. Expect that your inner critic will pop up and try to discourage you. Just recognize the brain chatter and tell it to get lost, you’re not going to allow that negative voice to dictate your behavior any longer. We all have an inner critic. Even the best authors can’t get rid of it. They just acknowledge it for what it is (voice of fear and doubt) and take action anyway. Decide to take the first step. Schedule time to write each day. That’s all it takes.
